How to be the NO. 1 Optom student
My mother used to tell me that I should aim for the stars and I would hopefully get somewhere near the moon; but, dare I say it, New Zealand is not well known for its NASA equivalent so instead I just wanted to find out how to allow people to see the stars clearly.
Along my road to a healthy C+ average I learnt several tips and tricks to surviving Optom:
1. Write heaps of notes, even the stuff you don't think is relevant- it might be and may well get you some extra marks.
2. Form a study group and attend the study sessions- even if you have been to an EYEZ party the night before!
3. Practice for practical’s- get your group together and practice as it will be heaps easier come assessment time.
4. When studying tick all the boxes- cover all the subjects and sub subjects and sub sub subjects.
5. Study all night and sleep all day- I just find I can concentrate better at night.
Keep exercising when studying for exams - a run in the morning will do wonders for your concentration and productivity.
